Hello everyone!

My name is Tess and I've just recently joined homestay online and very glad I did.  Homestay online seems to be very user friendly which is great for me!

Anyway, the main reason I joined this site was because I recently decided that it would be a great experience for me and my kids to have students staying at our place.  It's a great opportunity to make friends.  My youngest daughter is interested in learning so many new languages and my eldest daughter is also an ESL teacher who can tutor students if they wished.

My home is conveniently located in the heart of Surrey.  It's a five minute walk to the sky train station that will  take  you to downtown Vancouver in  just twenty five minutes.  My home is also a seven minute walk to Simon Fraser University Surrey. 

Our homestay guests would be provided with their own personal bedroom/washroom as well as a washer and dryer to do their laundry.  There is a large kitchen where they can cook if they wish to and a large, bright living room with their own TV, VCR and DVD as well as a stereo.  Our home can be seen in the photos section of my profile.

We will make you feel welcome and help you with any English needs. Evening meals are optional (just let us know) and breakfast supplies are provided. You have access to the kitchen to cook & eat, as well as the living room and small rear garden. You will have your own welcoming room with shared bathroom. In your room you have a desk with chair, wardrobe and single bed.

You also have access to 24 hour FREE wireless broadband and are welcome to watch SKY TV (cable). We currently have 2 students living with us who enjoy talking and relaxing.

Its a very easy going environment. You will have your own key to come and go as you please.
