My name is Ehab Elzanaty and I am your group host. I am a professional homestay coordinator with 16 years of experiece in 1st class hotel management, as well as 5 years homestay coordination and educational consultancy, both worldwide and locally in Vancouer Canada.

Great to know you EZ!. I have just returned from Indonesia last week,,then had the Sabah Homestay Annual General meeting ,which was well attended by the district coordinators and members from around Sabah, Malaysia.

We are going to have lots of Homestay carnivals througout the year. may will particulary be a busy month as we promote our Harvest festival carnivals, Sabah Fest and more.

I had two lovely German girls, age 26 years old who on their first visit to Sabah, wanted to stay in homestay and get to know the loval people. They had a good time and was well looked after by the people, including young children and youths who went for a jugle walk and collect wild vegetables
which they learned how to cook. They made rice wine with the host familes. Went to wedding of the host family relatives, then to church, then finally to enjoy a cool swim at the Mahua waterfall.

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if anyone knows of any group out there that help find host families for college age students that pay the family a stipend?

Besides being a member of homestayonline.com, you should consider contacting homestay programs of colleges within 30 minutes radius by public transit from your home. Also apply with International homestay agencies, they usually bring International student who pay for accommodations.

Also if you come across some potential program coordinators, invite them to this site and view your profile and gallery here.
